But one of the items that was scheduled for recycling/destruction was this Linksys E8500 router. 15/04/2018 Each region is controlled and Linksys has to follow regional policy regarding WiFi channels for there OEM FW. If channels are not allowed in some regions, then Linksys has to abide by those rules. You might try OpenWRT or DDWRT if they have anything ready.
